My Babes is more than a handsome guy,
He’s funny, smart and isn’t shy.
He makes friends wherever he goes,
He’s just like that – everyone knows.
We met online, began to date,
It wasn’t luck, or chance or fate,
I knew for real, he was the one,
My dating life? Over. Done.
He makes me laugh, he is so fine,
I can’t believe this man, he’s mine.
I’m lucky to have, I’m lucky to hold,
I’m lucky he’s mine ’til we get old.
So Babes, let’s look back on this year,
We’ve come so far, we’ve grown so near,
Our baby girl is proof that we,
Belong together – you and me.
