The other day, I was thinking about how I need to get to know all the ladies who will be at the Baltimore Bloggy Boot Camp… you know, so I can say, “Hey! It’s you, Brennbug! In real life! And whoa! There’s Brandy from ‘I’m not your average soccer mom.’”
You know, to make the connection between blogosphere and realworldosphere.
So, I’m asking all you ladies who will be at the Baltimore Bloggy Bootcamp to link up here.
Here’s the deal. Choose a post, or a page of your blog that best describes you. It can be the “About You” section, or a favorite post you write from 2006… whatever will give everyone else a “flavor” of who you are.
So, this is me. Erica, or E for short.
I began blogging in 2007, when I was training for a half marathon. Though I am very slow, I do call myself a runner. This is why.
When I got pregnant, I started this blog and took lots of belly pictures. Oy. I stopped running.
I have a daughter who is 10 months old, who I refer to as the Babes.
I have a fabulous husband. Our wedding ceremony was easily the most memorable – for me, and our guests.
I am a writer for a health care organization, and I freelance here and there as well. I’m also a certified Spinning Instructor, yet my hips don’t want to believe it. I am fascinated with social media….
I’m sarcastic, loud, and I manage to stick my foot in my mouth at least once a day. Still, I make friends everywhere. Put me at a bar by myself, I guarantee I will make a friend. Sit me on a plane with no acquaintances in sight? I’ll befriend the stewardess. I’m just that kind of person.
I say things that are on my mind things that make my husband tell me,”You’re gonna get me beat up one day, because you are going to say something to piss off the wrong person, and they’ll hit me, not you because you’re a girl.”
But really, would you try to beat up this guy?
Yeah, I didn’t think so either.

I loved reading about your running. I started running last year and completed a few 5K’s, but no more. I was thinking of setting a goal to complete the princess half marathon in Disney next year. I would love to be able to run that far. I think I may need a trainer though to get me that far. I am also a slow runner. WOW – 10 minute mile for you. I am usually closer to 14! You go girl!!

I’m so going to do my post today just for you and this fabulous idea of getting to know all the ladies that will be at the B-town BloggyBootCamp. So you gave me an awesome idea for my blog post, which honestly, I wouldn’t have even done tonight if it wasn’t for you. ANYWHO, I can’t wait to meet you and the other bloggy babes. I’m seriously psyched about this, mainly because I’m a big loser and have no friends. Oh I’m just kidding (hanging head in shame and sorrow). But really, this weekend is going to be so amazing, and a total blast. If I don’t puke or pass out from complete intimidation resulting from seeing you and all the other crazy popular bloggers out there. Whatever….if I do, at least you’ll remember me, right?? Thanks!!
